Help & Tutorial

Everything you need to know to install Xeno and get it running smoothly.

Welcome to the official Xeno setup guide. Follow these simple steps to ensure the executor works perfectly on your Windows PC.

1. Prerequisites & Runtimes

Before installing Xeno, your system needs a few basic dependencies to run the executor properly. If you don't have them, the program may crash or fail to open. You can download them directly from Microsoft using the links below:

Tip: After installing these runtimes, please restart your PC before opening Xeno for the first time.

2. How to Install Xeno

  1. Go to our Home page and click the Download button.
  2. Locate the downloaded .zip file and extract it into a clean, dedicated folder on your PC (for example: C:\Xeno). Do not run it directly from the ZIP or the Temp folder.
  3. Run xeno.exe as Administrator to ensure it has the necessary permissions.

3. How to Execute Scripts

  1. Open Roblox and join any game.
  2. Launch Xeno and wait for the interface to load.
  3. Click the Attach button.
  4. Paste your Lua script into the editor and click Execute.

4. Common Fixes

Xeno closes instantly

If the application closes right after opening, it is almost always a missing dependency. Scroll up to Step 1 and make sure both the Visual C++ Redistributable and the .NET Desktop Runtime are installed. Restart your PC afterward.

"No Client Selected" error

This error means Xeno cannot find your Roblox game window. Make sure you join a game in Roblox before launching Xeno. If it still doesn't work, close both Roblox and Xeno, then restart them in this order: first Roblox, wait until you are fully in a game, and then launch Xeno as Administrator.

Failed to attach (Red Dot)

If the attach button shows a red dot, it usually means Roblox has recently updated, or you are trying to attach with a different account than the one you first used. Try running Xeno as Administrator. Also, close background apps like Discord Overlay, as they can block the injection.

Script won't execute (loadstring error)

If a script fails and you see a "loadstring" error, the script itself is likely outdated or incompatible with the current Roblox version. If the script uses a `loadstring` link, make sure the link is still active. Sometimes, opening the raw link in your browser and pasting the full code directly into the executor can fix it.

Still not working?

If you have tried all the steps above and the executor is still not functioning correctly, your current version might be outdated or corrupted. Please perform a clean extraction. This solves the vast majority of issues.
