If you double-click xeno.exe and nothing happens, or the program closes instantly after opening, you are almost certainly missing a required dependency.
1. Missing Visual C++ Redistributable
Xeno is built using C++. If your Windows PC does not have the latest Visual C++ Redistributable installed, the executor will crash on launch. You can download it from Microsoft's official site here.
2. Missing .NET Runtime
Xeno's interface relies on .NET. If you don't have it, the UI won't load. Download the .NET Desktop Runtime here.
Crucial: After installing BOTH of these runtimes, you must restart your computer. Do not just close the installer; do a full system restart.
3. Corrupted Files
If you already have the runtimes installed, your ZIP file might have been corrupted during download. Delete your Xeno folder and re-download the file from the top of this page.
